My Hamburger Helper

 



Preparation

Three-part recipe. Unless you have some handmade broth on hand, you must prepare a simple broth. I told my grandchildren that I made "hamburger helper"

They love it. Try it.

 

Ingredients

 

  • 4 c of water

  • 2 c large leak leaf

  • 2 dried large chili or green chilis will do.

  • 2 tbs Fody vegetable soup base

  • 12 oz jovial gluten-free elbows


  • 2 lb. of hamburger

  • 1 tsp white peppers

  • 1 drizzle infuse garlic oil

  • 1 drizzle infused chili oil

  • 2 1/2 c lactose milk

  • 5 tsp of cornstarch


 

  • 4 cups of water
  • 2 cups large leak leaf
  • 2 dried large chili or green chilis will do.
  • 2 Tablespoons Fody Vegetable Soup Base
  • 12 oz Jovial Gluten-free elbows

  1. Combined all four ingredients
  2. Simmer with the lid on the stovetop for 2 hours, then drain with a strainer. Disregard all chunks using a strainer and put the remaining liquid broth back into the pan; add noodles and cook for 10 minutes set aside.
  3. Tip: You can prepare a simple stock ahead of time and refrigerate up to 48 hours; it will keep
  4. 2 pounds of hamburger
  5. 1 teaspoon white pepper
  6. 1 drizzle infuse garlic oil
  7. 1 drizzle infused chili oil
  8. Put in a pan and chop up into small pieces of pork and brown.
  9. While that is going, we can prepare the sauce
  10. ½ Cup lactose milk
  11. 5 teaspoons of cornstarch
  12. Salt to taste. I use one teaspoon to your liking.
  13. In the bowl, add milk and cornstarch mix till it dissolves bumps. Pour into broth and stir. Mix well on low heat. It should have a creamy, cheesy look. Add salt.
  14. Add mixture to ground pork, cover and simmer for 30 minutes and serve.
